An operator is any team member with login access to your LayerOps workspace. This includes admins, operators, and read-only users. Pricing is a flat monthly fee per workspace, not per operator - Team and Enterprise support unlimited team members at no extra cost.

Yes. Both Starter and Team plans include a 14-day free trial with full access to all plan features. No credit card required to start.

Yes. Upgrade or downgrade anytime from your workspace settings. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades apply at the end of your billing cycle. Your data is preserved within the new plan's retention limits.

Raw API and tool call logs are permanently purged after your plan's retention window. Aggregate analytics (daily summaries, usage stats) are retained separately - 180 days on Starter, 365 days on Team, unlimited on Enterprise.

Every plan includes AES-256-GCM encryption for stored credentials, managed through a two-layer key hierarchy with hardware-backed managed KMS. Your API keys never exist in plaintext at rest, and each workspace gets its own encryption key.

Annual billing saves approximately 20% compared to monthly. All annual plans are billed upfront for the full year in GBP.

Runbooks are repeatable operating procedures that capture multi-step workflows as reusable templates. Save a workflow from the Playground, parameterize it, and run it again with different inputs. Schedule them to run automatically on a cron. Available on Team and Enterprise plans.
